IDStutorial was established in 2007 by Mike Gordon, a Computer Science graduate at UofM. Mike is very interested in the field of Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), particularly when combined with Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques, and he continues to actively apply this technology in the corporate field to prevent security breaches.

Mike created this site as an informational resource for those interested in learning the basics of computer and network Intrusion Detection Systems and the theory and processes behind some of the more advanced implementations of such systems.

The field of intrusion detection is a rapidly evolving field and I will do my best to keep this site up to date with the latest advances.

I hope you enjoy the site and thanks for stopping by,

Mike Gordon
